第20届MTV电影奖（2011MTVMovieAwards）提名于美国太平洋时间周二出炉，《暮光之城：月食》以8项提名领跑，和它一同获得最佳电影提名的还有《盗梦空间》（7项提名）、《哈利波特与死亡圣器上》（6项提名）、《社交网站》（5项提名）、《黑天鹅》（4项提名）。周杰伦则凭借《青蜂侠》获得最佳新人提名。
今年的MTV电影奖还新增了一个特色奖，最佳台词奖。另外以前出现过的三个特色奖：最让人惊掉下巴一刻、最恐怖表演、最拽明星也都在今年全部再次启用。
今年的MTV电影奖将于6月5日举行颁奖典礼，《周六夜现场》的喜剧演员杰森·苏代基斯（Jason Sudeikis）将担任主持人。
