米高·W·史密夫（英语：MichaelW.Smith；绰号：Smitty，1957年10月07日－）。出生于美国西维吉尼亚州，美国歌手、吉他手、流行歌曲作者和电子键盘弹奏手。他是美国的当代基督教音乐（ContemporaryChristianmusic，CCM）乐坛过去这二十年以来名声最响亮、最具有号召力的人之一。米高曾经夺得三个格林美奖（GrammyAwards）、一个美国音乐奖和三十六个圣鸽奖（GMADoveAward），还被Keyboard杂志列为摇滚音乐界中最佳键盘手之一。在过去二十四年的音乐生涯中，米高的专辑销量已经超过一千五百万张。其中有二十九首歌曲为冠军歌曲，十六张专辑为金专辑，五张专辑为白金专辑。美国音乐奖颁奖典礼台湾的唱片代理商曾经特别为他加上一个“成人抒情歌坛白马王子”的封号。People杂志曾经评选米高为全世界50位最俊美名人之一的创作歌手。米高最新的专辑《ANewHallelujah》己于2008年10月28日发行。

出生及成长
米高·W·史密夫出生于美国西维吉尼亚州。父亲是个炼油厂的工人，母亲是一个宴会筹备人。米高·W·史密的家境非常普通，并没有多少音乐背景。由于受到父亲的影响，米高曾经加入过未成年的篮球联盟。米高的音乐兴趣源于教会，他在教会内学习了钢琴和随教会合唱团演唱。在十三岁时，米高有一种“强烈的心灵感觉”，这令他成为一个虔诚的的基督徒。米高回忆起：“我在颈上戴着这个大的十字架。对我来说，这是这么的真实。”（"Iworethisbigcrossaroundmyneck,"hewouldrecall,"Itwasveryrealtome."）米高开始阅读和学习《圣经》，他寻找了一群年纪较老的朋友，一起向耶稣基督分享自己的承诺和承担的义务。那些都是米高开心的往事。
