Paget was born in 1988 to an artist father, Charles Paget, 8th Marquess of Anglesey, and writer mother, Georgeanne Elliot Downes.[2] She was first offered a role after being spotted by a talent scout at a costume party.[3] Paget has received particular praise for her role as Anne Bonny, a fictionalised representation of the historical female pirate.
