人物经历
碇矢长介早年从综艺节目“8点！全员集合”中发迹，以队长的身分，带领志村健、加藤茶等人所属的团体“THEDRIFTERS”，在屏幕上搞笑，深得日本观众欢迎。
碇矢长介对演艺事业的敬业态度，也让织田裕二留下深刻印象，他说：“拍戏的时候，不管等多久，都不曾见他抱怨过，没有他的戏分时，也总是待在镜头旁，和大家切磋演技，让我由衷的尊敬他。”曾与他合作广告的田中丽奈则说：“他展现出的前辈风范，让我一辈子难忘！”
在得知自己罹患原发不明颈部淋巴癌之后，碇矢长介仅短暂接受化疗，立刻又投入电影“大搜查线2～封锁彩虹大桥！”的宣传工作，并且陆续接下电影“恋人狙击手”、日剧“隔墙有鬼”等演出，病情恶化之后，也曾多次向经纪人表示，想要早点出院工作。2004年3月20日不幸去世，接获碇矢长介过世的噩耗后，他的生前好友志村健、加藤茶等人，都在第一时间里，赶往他的住所见他最后一面。
