Hyapatia Lee (pronounced "high-a-PAY-sha") was born Vicki Lynch. By 1977 she was performing regularly on stage as an actress at the Black Curtain Dinner Theater, Footlite Musicals, and Indianapolis Civic Theater, among others. In 1979 she became a regularly featured dancer at the Red Garter Lounge. On a whim, she entered and won the Miss Nude Galaxy contest in nearby Roselawn, Indiana.
