A former business executive and literary agent who was educated at Oxford University in England, Gerald Drayson Adams began writing for the screen in the mid-1940s. He wrote mostly second features, specializing in action/adventure and western films, and ended his career with an 埃尔维斯·普雷斯利 musical, 玉面猫禁苑称雄 (1965).
