职业生涯
菲尔·希尔在加利福尼亚的SantaMonica长大（他依然住在那里），1949年，他作为Jaguar（美洲虎）的培训生前往英国。1956年，他与EnzoFerrari的车队签约。他参加的第一场大奖赛是1958年在Reims赛道举行的法国大奖赛，当时他驾驶马莎拉蒂出战。同一年，他与队友Gendebien合作代表比利时车队在晚间瓢泼的大雨赢得了1958年的勒芒大奖赛。之后他与Gendebien又两次获得此项锦标赛的冠军。
菲尔·希尔
