早年经历

皮尔洛·皮西奥尼出生于都灵，小时候因为母亲不满父亲对左翼政治的狂热而离开，但好在皮西奥尼的父亲也是个颇有艺术细胞的政治家，他经常带小皮西奥尼到佛罗伦萨的E.I.A.R.歌剧院去听演唱会。

这也造就了小皮西奥尼对CharlieParker及ArtTatum等人的兴趣，在没有任何科班经历的情况下，皮西奥尼自学成才。

演艺经历

在1938年组成了自己第一个Jazz乐队013BigBand。

可惜的是，墨索里尼不喜欢Jazz，在那个战火纷飞的日子里，乐队的停顿在所难免。

在战后，意大利文艺逐渐复苏，013做为第一个重组的Jazz乐队受到了电台、媒体及需要音乐做为动力的人们的欢迎。

皮西奥尼主要灵感出自20世纪古典作曲家和美国的电影大师比如：弗兰克·卡普拉、阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克、比利·怀尔德等。

皮尔洛·皮西奥尼同电影结源还在他50岁时为新人LuigiPolidoro纪录片配乐，此时的皮尔洛·皮西奥尼的身份是一个保护电影知识产权的律师，而Polidoro的师傅就是安东尼奥尼，就是在这两人玩笑中，皮尔洛·皮西奥尼的处女电影配乐大作荣幸的落在了这部不起眼的纪录片上。

开了先例的皮尔洛·皮西奥尼此后一发不可收拾，在完成1952年GianniFranciolini的IlMondolecondanna，皮尔洛·皮西奥尼正式脱下了律师服，拿起了指挥棒做起了专职配乐师。

弗朗西斯科·罗西、马利欧·莫尼且利、AlbertoLattuada、吕基·康曼西尼、卢奇诺·维斯康蒂等等的电影作品都出现了皮尔洛·皮西奥尼的名字，从而出现“一人难求”的景象。《踩过界》、《TuttoAPostoNienteinOrdine》、《英俊的安东尼奥》等得奖大作很难不和皮尔洛·皮西奥尼联系起来。

他为电影、电视剧、歌舞等创作的原声配乐至今超过300张，所创作中的得奖影片不计其数。这也是皮尔洛·皮西奥尼——一个意大利电影音乐灵魂的最佳褒赏。
