William C. McGann was an American director of second features. He began his film career as assistant cameraman and graduated to cinematographer for 道格拉斯·范朋克 in the late 1910s. He had a long tenure as director with the Warner Bros. "B" unit, 1930-39. Afterwards, he had brief spells with Paramount and RKO.
