今天在CC上找电影看,在科幻这个分类底下又看到了这部隐约记得标记过的电影,看了以后觉得这个标签确实蛮疑惑,但又没毛病,可以说它一方面是realism disguised in/as the fantastic - by way of “a few years from now” and the flying saucer,一方面叙事和镜头都以“写真”为主以至于前半部都没有进入节奏(more on this in a bit),更没有华丽的特效动作场面
which其实 the real warfare here is the fight over whose mediated technological narrative:是UFO游戏般VR POV的fantastic,高科技透明平板同声传译的farce,还是结尾村民对着人头纷纷举起了手机的mundane和everyday
这太poaching了 但问题似乎好像也在于它太poaching了 就是这种 alignment of the caricature racist imperialists on one side and the wholesome proletariats in solidarity on the other 有点太neat了 以至于有些suspicious 虽然它的narrative / allegorical purpose well-intended and well achieved
看前面的时候就有在考虑巴西的racial scene在“国际”观众眼里会怎么manifest 没想到后面就真的出来了 那个长桌对话和后面的Nazi对话 虽然有点cliche 但又正中要害 确实也是个much needed satire on the very real happenings in the world: recreational battefields, aerial aftermaths, forensic architecture, landscapes of ruin and ruination, infrastructural violence 这一切通过mise-en-abyme的media technology和meta textual层面的narrative/genre mediation来讲述似乎再适合不过了
最后一个tangent就是其实前半部不确定会怎么发展的时候一度觉得很Wanda Vision… a spatio temporal continuum so envelopped in mourning that it disappears off the map 一些conscious registering / perception / loss / melancholia / history
